The Church of All Saints in Langport dates largely back to the mid 15th century. It has a particularly fine Perpendicular octagonal tower built around the same date. The church has a number of fascinating and unique gargoyles known locally as 'hunky punks'. It is a Grade I listed building. All Saints' Church is still a consecrated church but regular services are no longer held here. The nearest active church is St. Mary's in Huish Episcopi, which is about five minutes walk from All Saints.

Interesting fact: the American President Woodrow Wilson visited the grave of Walter Bagehot (who is buried in the graveyard) in 1896, and it is sad that he left with an ivy leaf from the grounds as a souvenir.
